PRIVACY POLICY

Effective Date: June 9, 2026

This Privacy Policy constitutes a legally binding agreement between you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) and Rhyder Lab (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your access to and use of the LiveRates mobile application (the “App”) and any associated services, features, or content. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you explicitly acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Our privacy philosophy is rooted in a fundamental principle: Data minimization. We do not want, need, or request your personal data to provide our services.

1. Information We Explicitly Do Not Collect

To ensure maximum user privacy and security, the App is intentionally architected to operate entirely without a user account system. Consequently, we strictly do not collect, transmit, store, or process any Personally Identifiable Information (PII). This includes, but is not limited to:

No Contact Information: We do not collect your email address, phone number, physical address, or zip code.

No Identity Information: We do not collect your first name, last name, date of birth, government-issued identifiers, or biometric data.

No Financial Information: We do not collect or store your credit card numbers, bank account details, or cryptocurrency wallet addresses. All financial transactions for Premium packages are handled exclusively by the third-party app store provider.

2. Information We Do Collect (Anonymous Device Recognition)

Instead of utilizing cloud-based user accounts, the App relies on localized, anonymous device-bound identification mechanisms.

Universally Unique Identifier (UUID): Upon the initial launch of the App on your device, the system automatically generates an anonymous UUID. This identifier is stored locally on your device and is used exclusively to recognize your specific hardware installation. This mechanism allows the App to maintain your user preferences, watchlists, selected base currencies, and Premium subscription status.

Diagnostic and Usage Data: We may collect non-personally identifiable, aggregated diagnostic data to monitor the App’s technical performance. This may include crash logs, device model information, operating system versions, and anonymized user interaction metrics. This data is utilized solely for internal debugging, architectural optimization, and improving the stability of the App. It cannot be reverse-engineered to identify you.

3. Third-Party Integrations and Data Sharing

While Rhyder Lab does not collect your personal data, the App integrates with certain third-party Software Development Kits (SDKs) to provide functionality and display advertisements. These third parties are governed by their respective privacy policies:

Advertising Networks: The free, non-premium version of the App displays third-party advertisements. These advertising networks may collect and use your device’s advertising identifier, IP address, and standard tracking technologies to serve personalized or contextual advertisements. You can manage your ad tracking preferences directly through your device’s operating system settings.

Analytics Services: We may employ anonymized analytics services to track application usage patterns. These services do not cross-reference usage data with PII.
We do not sell, rent, or lease any data to third-party data brokers.

4. Data Security and Local Storage

Because the App functions without a centralized backend server for user accounts, your customized settings, saved portfolios, and Premium status markers are stored locally within the App’s sandbox environment on your device. While we implement commercially reasonable security measures to protect the integrity of the App, the physical security of your device and the data stored locally on it remains your sole responsibility.

5. Children’s Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from individuals under this age threshold. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child has provided us with any form of data, please contact us so that we can take necessary technical steps to remove such traces.

6. Data Deletion and User Rights

Since Rhyder Lab does not retain any of your personal data on our servers, traditional “Right to be Forgotten” or data deletion requests cannot be executed on a server level. To permanently delete all data associated with your use of the App, you simply need to uninstall the App from your device.
